Sophomore Gabriela Mendoza is beginning her first year on staff and looks forward to growing as a journalist while strengthening her writing skills. Outside of school, she enjoys shopping, tanning, spending time with friends, and dancing. As a varsity dancer, she balances a busy schedule, but she’s excited to add multimedia to the mix. “I’m looking forward to learning more about photography and how to write and publish stories,” Gabriela said.
