As the spooky season has ended, people are trading their pumpkins for snowflakes. With this comes an important decision. No, not figuring out what gifts to buy for your loved ones, but deciding what Starbucks drink will replace the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte.

The first Pumpkin Spice Latte was created at Starbucks’ Seattle headquarters in 2003 and has become a fall staple for coffee lovers. Have no fear: Starbucks’ holiday drinks arrived in stores across the United States on Nov. 3. This review of Starbucks’ top five holiday items should help you choose your go-to winter order and get you in good spirits.

This year’s holiday sip includes Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, and Irish Cream Cold Brew. These festive flavors come in three forms: hot, iced, and blended frappuccino. As of yet, these have been the only holiday selections.

1. Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte

According to a local Starbucks barista, the most popular drink this holiday season is the Sugar Cookie Latte, her favorite. It’s a great iced option– especially since Miami is still feeling the heat. Also, it is the chain’s first non-dairy holiday drink, making its debut last year. The drink is made with sugar-cookie-flavored syrup, blonde espresso, and almond milk. The red and green cookie sprinkles on top pull it all together.

2. Peppermint Mocha

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the Peppermint Mocha has become one of the most treasured holiday drinks among children and adults. Fans cannot get enough of the espresso infused with steamed milk, mocha sauce, and peppermint-flavored syrup with whipped cream and dark chocolate curls. It is definitely a Polar Express-worthy item.

Next is the rich Caramel Brulée Latte. Inspired by the delicious dessert, creme brulée, the drink includes a torched caramel brulée sauce and sugar crunch toppings. Pro-tip: asking for extra whipped cream is never a bad idea.

4. Toasted White Chocolate Mocha

The Toasted White Chocolate Mocha (TWCM) is a twist on the year-round White Chocolate Mocha. The TWCM includes toasted marshmallow sauce, a caramelized white chocolate flavor topped with candy pearls, and sprinkles that can transport fans to a cozy fireplace. The toasted white chocolate mocha is delicious hot or cold.

Finally, if you are the type to stick to your drink order regardless of the season, don’t worry! There are still plenty of holiday-inspired options for you. A hot cup of cocoa is on the menu year-round and still gives a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. The holiday spirit does not end at drinks. Starbucks also has a roster of food options, such as a Reindeer Cake Pop, Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, Cranberry Bliss Bar, and Snowman Cookie. New this year is the Chocolate Pistachio Swirl.
